04/03- Post production and revising

    Surprisingly, post production took way longer than the filming process itself. Filming this overall project took at most five days. However, the post production process has taken a lot more than that, along with skill and concentration. There were many choices made, and my creativity definitely had to show in order to make this film as perfect as I wanted it to be. Specifically, working on the editing process during post production took the longest as I constantly went back to revise little details that make the overall video better. Picking out the perfect image filters as well as the audio effects in each scene is one way I believe that our film will stand out. Additionally, removing unwanted background noises is key to making our film a lot more professional. As we are concluding our project, I am feeling confident on how the finished production came out! 

Our main actor and I (director) took this picture right after we finished filming! We were so happy.

03/31- Final editing touches

     As my partner Natali and I are almost done with the editing process of the film, we are using iMovie, the application on a Mac to edit the whole entire project. We chose the editing software iMovie because we both have Macbooks and are both very familiar with this application as we have both done previous projects on it. To summarize our editing process, we first started by importing all the clips filmed on my phone. After, we ordered them, creating sequencial scenes to our story. The real editing began when we cut out the extra footage we didn't need or didn't add any meaning to the project. This alone took a few days. However once we fully had all of the footage we needed, we added transitions, zooms, the opening title, and filters. Slowly, the production started to come to life. As for the sound editing, we decided to cut sounds into some pieces we only wanted to include in the video. Moreover, the dialogue between our characters were certainly included, as we only did slight changes to the volume.
